Data deletion

Broker data deletion and account control

How Optioneer users can disconnect broker access, request deletion of imported broker data, delete their account, and revoke future synchronization.

Broker integrations are read-only and used exclusively for portfolio synchronization and analytics.

Optioneer does not place trades or execute orders on behalf of users.

Disconnect broker access to stop future synchronization.

Request deletion of imported broker data tied to your Optioneer account.

Revoke broker authorization directly with your broker where available.

Disconnecting a broker

Disconnecting a broker stops future synchronization from Optioneer. Users should also revoke Optioneer from their broker's third-party app or security settings where the broker makes those controls available.

Deleting imported broker data

Users can request deletion of imported broker data associated with their Optioneer account. Deleted broker data is removed from user-facing portfolio tracking views and handled according to applicable legal, security, and fraud-prevention retention obligations.

Account deletion

Account deletion removes the Optioneer user account and associated personal account data subject to legal retention requirements. Before requesting account deletion, users should disconnect brokers and export any information they want to keep.

Retention policies

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Retained records are limited to the purpose that requires retention and are not used to continue broker synchronization after access is revoked.

Privacy/GDPR references

Optioneer supports privacy rights such as access, correction, export, and deletion where required by applicable law, including GDPR principles for users in relevant jurisdictions. For the broader policy, review the Privacy Policy.

Revoking future synchronization

To revoke future synchronization, disconnect the broker in Optioneer and revoke Optioneer access from the broker's authorization settings where available. Revocation prevents new broker data from being synchronized after access ends.
