- Broker import data
- Account-related app data
Store subscriptions are canceled separately
Deleting an Optioneer account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google Play. Before deletion, open Settings → Subscription and use every listed store management action to cancel any subscription you no longer want.
Refunds and cancellations are handled by the original billing provider. Optioneer may retain limited pseudonymous billing records when required for tax, disputes, fraud prevention, subscription recovery, or legal compliance, while unrelated user data is deleted or anonymized.
Disconnecting a broker
Disconnecting in Optioneer stops future local synchronization and preserves existing portfolio history. It does not currently delete the SnapTrade-side user or brokerage authorization. Users should also revoke Optioneer from their broker's third-party app or security settings where the broker makes those controls available, or contact Optioneer support for help with provider-side access.
Deleting imported broker data
Users can request deletion of imported broker data associated with their Optioneer account. Deleted broker data is removed from user-facing portfolio tracking views and handled according to applicable legal, security, and fraud-prevention retention obligations.
Retention policies
Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, disputes, tax, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Retained records are limited to the purpose that requires retention and are not used to continue broker synchronization after access is revoked.
Privacy/GDPR references
Optioneer supports privacy rights such as access, correction, export, and deletion where required by applicable law, including GDPR principles for users in relevant jurisdictions. For the broader policy, review the Privacy Policy.
Revoking future synchronization
To revoke future synchronization, disconnect the broker in Optioneer and revoke Optioneer access from the broker's authorization settings where available. The current local disconnect does not delete the SnapTrade-side user or authorization. Revocation prevents new broker data from being synchronized after access ends.
Questions about broker synchronization, data deletion, or responsible disclosure can be sent to the Optioneer team.
