Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use during the trial, and are there usage limits?

Eligible trials include the Premium workflow. Screener and Discovery do not have separate trial-only usage caps. The product-wide watchlist maximum is 10 symbols. Read-only Broker Sync is the exception: it requires active paid Premium and is not available during the trial.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

A payment method is required. Eligible trials cost $0 today. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected subscription starts automatically after 7 days and continues to renew until canceled. Accounts that have already used a trial are charged when they confirm the purchase.

How does yearly billing work?

Yearly Premium is $150/year, charged as one annual payment. That is $12.50/month equivalent and saves $78/year (~34%) compared with paying $19 each month.

When is Broker Sync available, and which brokerages are supported?

Broker Sync is read-only and available only with active paid Premium, not during the trial. Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is currently the only Optioneer-tested brokerage. Other brokerages may appear through SnapTrade, but availability and data coverage vary by broker, region, and account type.

Where do I cancel?

Cancel through the provider that billed you: use the Stripe portal from Optioneer Account Settings for web purchases, Apple subscription settings for App Store purchases, or Google Play subscriptions for Android purchases. Cancel before a trial ends to avoid its first charge. Refund requests are handled by the original billing provider under that provider's policies; Optioneer does not make a separate refund promise here.
